Hacienda Higueral -Hacienda Higüeral is a beautiful historic ranch just 20-minutes away from Casa de Campo. A working farm, horses and cattle are bred and raised here. Visitors can see cowboys hard at work leading the herds, and have the opportunity to explore the scenic sugar cane fields, open pastures, and peaceful lagoons.

Cueva de las Maravillas – The tour begins with a short stroll through La Romana, the closest town to Casa de Campo, on your way to Las Maravillas Cave, the West Indies first natural museum of Rupestrian artwork, located inside a 100,000 year old cave. Visitors will have a chance to learn about the caves extraordinary geological formations and the history of the pictographs left by the native Taino Indians that lived here before the arrival of Christopher Columbus.

Altos de Chavon – Take a guided tour of this breathtaking architectural marvel that you won’t find anywhere outside of Europe. A replica 16th century Mediterranean village, local artisans hand-crafted many of the authentic details that make Altos de Chavón such an impressive sight to behold. The tour includes the history of the village as well as the chance to visit many of the artists’ studios and workshops, the archaeological museum, St. Stanislaus Church, and so much more.

Marinarium – Enjoy a breathtaking Catamaran ride on the coastline of Bavaro to a Unique Marina Park, here you will be able to experience an exceptional snorkeling trip to admire the corals, marine life and of course swim with nurse sharks and stingrays. After snorkeling relax while listening to some good music in the natural swimming pool, where the bar will come to you.

Kayak Tour – Paddle along the tranquil waters of the Chavon River, and
enjoy the gorgeous views of lush vegetation, magnificent villas, Dye Fore golf course and Altos de Chavon.

Scuba Diving – In the Dominican Republic, choose La Romana-Bayahibe if diving is your thing. It promises the widest selection of dive sites at a short boat ride distance. Use vacation time to come away with your diving license, so you can venture more often into the wonderful world of diving. Instruction is first rate, as is the exotic underwater flora and fauna there to be discovered. Pottery Lessons – Discover your inner artist at Emilio Robba Workshop at Altos de Chavón. The early inhabitants of the island created their own stone- ware and works of art out of terracotta (pottery). Experi- ence a hands-on cultural immersion and take a souvenir home too!. Recommended activity for all ages, families and groups.

Join us in a journey to the Ron Barceló Historical Center in SPM, where we will take tour to the beginnings of an industry and a brand that today are an inseparable part of the Dominican culture.
