Casa de Campo
Casa de Campo is located on the south eastern shore of the Dominican Republic, next to the town of La Romana and just 70 miles from the capital city of Santo Domingo, the oldest city in the new world.
Casa de Campo is a luxurious 7,000 acre ocean front community offering world class golf courses which includes, the famous Teeth of the Dog Golf Course plus Dye Fore and The Links Golf Course, polo fields, skeet shooting centre, tennis centre, equestrian centre, water sports, spa treatment centre, fitness centre, business centre, private beach, a la carte restaurants, Altos de Chavon (artist village) and the new marina, all of which will please almost any visitor.

The Marina
The 45,000 m2 Casa de Campo Marina features 250 slips for yachts and sailboats of up to 150 feet (currently being expanded) and each dock is equipped with electricity, water, telephone and cable TV. On it's main plaza, Plaza Portofino, and in Calle Barlovento you will find restaurants, shops, banks, art galleries, pharmacies, travel agencies, laundry facilities, supermarket and car and boat rentals. There is also a refuelling station, customs and immigration services. The Casa de Campo Yacht Club is now linked to the world famous Costa Smeralda Yacht Club which organize sailing races and offshore competitions on a national and worldwide scale. The yacht club also offers a service for boat repairs and storage for boats in transit.
Minitas Beach
Minitas is Casa de Campo´s private beach where guests can enjoy a sunny and relaxing day. The beach features a seafood restaurant called El Pescador where delicious lunches are served daily with Mediterranean flavours in a scenic outdoor setting overlooking Minitas beach and the sparkling Caribbean Sea. The menu includes fresh salads, grilled vegetables and a variety of meats and seafood. There are also two bars along the beach where you can find an excellent mix of beverages, a gift shop, massage hut, water sports and a sailing school.La Palapa is a beach hut available for kids and families where they can play supervised games and sports.
Dining
Casa de Campo Resort has a good variety of international restaurants and bars in which you can sample Italian, Mexican, French, Chinese and Dominican cuisine.The resort also specializes in children's menus featuring kids entrees. Highchairs are available in all restaurants to keep your tots happy and your dining experience a pleasure.

Altos de Chavon
Altos de Chavon was inspired by a 16th Century Mediterranean village. Built on a cliff top from rustic coral rock with bougainvillaea and sprays of hibiscus blossoming everywhere, it is the home, workplace and inspiration for many artists. In Altos de Chavon you will find a bakery, supermarket, restaurants, bars, an art gallery, weaving and ceramic studios, a regional museum of archaeology that documents the island's rich Pre-Columbian taino heritage and a Design School affiliated to Parsons School of Design in New York.
The village also has a 5,000 seat open air Greek style amphitheatre, which was inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra with " The Concert for the Americas" and Carlos Santana. Since then the amphitheatre has hosted concerts, symphonies, theatrical events, and festivals featuring such renowned artists as Julio Iglesias, Dizzy Gillespie, Gloria Estefan, Sergio Mendes, Duran Duran, Sting and Andrea Bocelli among others.
Polo Club & Dude Ranch
Casa de Campo has one of the best facilities in the Caribbean. Three polo playing fields, equipment rental, group instruction and personalized training are available for beginners and medium-goal players. During polo season (November thru April) polo matches are played throughout the week. International and Domestic Tournaments are organized during the season. Dude Ranch offers you scenic rides throught Casa de Campo properties. There is a one-hour golf course ride, a two-hour ride through tropical trails by the Chavón River and two three-hour advanced rides; one through sugarcane fields to the cane-cutter's village and the other a ride outside of the main resort at Rancho Peligro.
Shooting Centre
Casa de Campo shooting centre (245-acres) was designed, created and conceived by internationally-acclaimed shooting veteran Michael Rose. Rose has been one of Great Britain's leading instructors for more than 30 years. The sporting clay area within the shooting center creates a realistic practice, not only for grouse, but also partridge, pheasant, duck, rabbits and quail. All clays move at different heights and speeds which test each shooter's range of skills.
Tennis Centre
Casa de Campo La Terraza Tennis Centre has been dubbed the Wimbledon of the Caribbean! featuring 13 private ¨Har-Tru¨ courts situated at the top of Casa de Campo Resort with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea.Players can expect a great level of service with it's 60+ members of staff catering to all your needs, including 32 ball boys; 16 instructors; 8 teaching pros; 1 head teaching pro and 3 pro shop staff. La Terraza also offers it's own club house, swimming pool, snack bar, spectator's deck and a Pro Shop.
